Caudum Bodegas Larraz Selección Especial 2009: Cherry colour, garnet rim. Spicy aroma, creamy oak, toasted, expressive, ripe fruit. Powerful palate, tasty, toasty, ripe tannins.
Included in the honour roll of the best wines of Spain.
Very aromatic, with aromas of red fruit jam, notes of clove, clay, undergrowth and a background of smoked bacon. In the mouth, fleshy, sweet, rough tannin, very good acidity and persistent finish where the retronasal notes are lightly smoked.
